CERI and its history

1976

A small group of technicians decides to embark on the industrial adventure of the machine tools. Mr. Sabia Nicolas, at the head of this group, develops the Special- Machines activity thanks to the growth of the automotive industry in France.

1976

The company BOUST – precision machining is bought. The CERI group is created, with these two independent entities, but very complementary. Through this acquisition and the creation of the Group, CERI strengthens its expertise in mechanical subcontracting, a critical point for special machines projects.

2002

In 2002, René Clément, formerly great name of the French machine-tools, took over. This acquisition reinforces CERI’s activity on special or flexible machining machines, Rétrofits.

2016

CERI celebrates its 40th birthday. The anniversary day takes place on November 24, with more than 300 clients and historical contacts present. This day is also the occasion to inaugurate the new hall for large machines, as well as a complete renovation of the premises. (4 halls with an area of 2500m2)

2019

Presence of CERI in the East / Rhône-Alpes region

 

1980

Construction of the 1st building with an assembly hall of 700m2

1998

Arnaud Sabia, son of Nicolas Sabia joins the CERI Group. The development continues, especially for export and non-automotive activity.

2012

Serimatec – Robotisation and Automation integrates the CERI group. This 3rd independent entity in the CERI Group strengthens the Group’s ability to offer global solutions, such as complete lines or cells to complete workshop automation.

2017

CERI is visually updated with a modernized version of its logo.

The CERI Group joins the NADTEK Network, made up of 7 leading companies in the world of aeronautics

Certifications of CERI Group

Through its subsidiary BOUST, the CERI Group is certified in the fields of aeronautics (EN 9100) and armament (AQAP).
